User Account Roles in the Teach for Texas Website

**The Green Color Indicates That They Have Access to The Responsibilities Listed**

Teacher

  •  Position – Instructional Coach, non-appraising Department Chair, Master Teacher… 
  • Access-  Teachers DO NOT Have Login Access to the TeachforTexas.org Website. Teachers Will Access the Rubric Ratings Via Printed Reports Generated by Observers.
  • Teachers Do Have Access to the Resources on the Teachers Page of the TeachforTexas.org Website. 


Observer

  • Position – Instructional Coach, non-appraising Department Chair, Master Teacher…
  • Access – Take the T-TESS Certification Test; Create New Teacher Observations; View, Edit, and Print Teacher Observations that were created by the Observer.


Assistant School Administrator

  • Position – Assistant Principal
  • Access – Take the T-TESS Certification Test; Create New Teacher Observations; View, Edit, and Print Teacher Observations for Their School; Create, View, And Edit Teacher Accounts; Can Make Teacher Accounts Inactive; Can Run Teacher Reports for Their School; 

School Administrator

  • Position – Principal
  • Access – Take the T-TESS Certification Test; Create New Teacher Observations; View, Edit, and Print Teacher Observations for Their School; Create, View, And Edit Teacher Accounts; Can Make Teacher Accounts Inactive; Can Run Teacher Reports for Their School; 

District Administrator:

  • Position – Superintendent or District T-TESS Lead
  • Access – Take the T-TESS Certification Test; Create New Teacher Observations; View, Edit, and Print Teacher Observations for Their District; Create, View, And Edit Teacher, School Administrator, and Assistant School Administrator Accounts; Can Make Teacher, School Administrator, and Assistant School Administrator Accounts Inactive; Can Run Teacher Reports for All Schools Within Their District; Can Run Observer Certification Status Reports for All Schools Within Their District; Can Add New Schools Within the District; Can Edit Superintendent Contact Information;
