Administrators: How to Add Teachers to the T-TESS Website

You must have one of the following roles:

  • Assistant School Administrator
  • School Administrator
  • District Administrator

  1. Go to TeachforTexas.org and click on the 'Login' link at the top right of the page to login to your existing account.

  2. Once logged in:

a - If you are a School Administrator or Assistant School Administrator: On the site’s top menu click on the 'Appraisers' link, then click on the 'Evaluation Management' link from the dropdown menu. Then click on the 'Teacher Accounts' link.


b - If you are a District Administrator: On the site’s top menu click on the 'Districts' link, then click on the 'Evaluation Management' link from the dropdown menu. Then click on the 'Teacher Accounts' link.


2. Once on the Teacher Accounts page, click on the 'Add a Teacher' button.

3. Fill out the Teacher information, then click on the 'Add Teacher' button below.  

(Note: Teachers DO NOT have access to the TeachforTexas.org website. You will only create the account so you can create a Teacher Observation for them)


***In order to add multiple Teachers at once, on the Teacher Accounts page, click on the 'Upload Multiple Teachers' button. Then follow the instructions provided.
