How To: Change My Email Address? Name Changes? Password? Profile Information?

  1. Login to the TeachforTexas.org site by clicking on the 'Login' link on the top menu. 

    2. Login with your Username and Password, then click on the 'Login' button.
  2. Click on the 'My Account' link on the top menu, then click on the 'My Account' link in the dropdown menu. 

  3. On the 'My Account' page, make the necessary changes to your account: 

    If you are needing to update your name, username, email, recovery email, and/or cell phone number, please make the updates on the 'Personal information' section, then click on the 'Update' button to save your changes. 


    You should then get a notification that the changes have been updated successfully.

    If you are needing to update your password, go to the 'Password Management' section and click on the 'Change Password' button to then enter in your current password, new password, and confirm your new password. Then click on the 'Update' button to save your changes. You should then get a notification that the changes have been updated successfully. If you are needing to update your District information, go to the 'District Information' section and make the changes, then click on the 'Request Change' button.  You should then get a notification that the changes have been submitted are now pending approval from the District Administrator from your District.
